I was restless this afternoon and in the mood for baking so, encouraged by the reviews, I decided to bake these cookies. The second batch is in the oven, the first one cooling. I was curious if they turned out OK so broke off a piece of one of them and then soon went back to finish it off. They are really tasty, with a glass of milk - just perfect. And no flour! Thank you for this lovely recipe FolkDiva! I will make it again and again.

Awesome cookies. Eaten right away by my family. All have been surprised that there is no flour! Can be virtually gluten-free if able to find the gluten-free oatmeal. Didn't quite make it in time for ZWT5, but did get it in for two vacations. Thanks so much for posting!!!!

"These are REALLY GOOD" cookies!", said DH, who tends to be pretty understated when he likes something. So the "REALLY" and the tone of voice - and the fact that he never likes cookies with raisins told me right off just how good these are! They're really easy to put together, and I got 38 pretty good sized cookies out of them. Definately a recipe I'll make again. Thanks, FolkDiva! Made for 1-2-3 Hits Tag.

This is like all the popular cookies rolled into one. It's hard to believe that there isn't any flour in this recipe. I used raisins and chopped walnuts, and had to lower the cooking time to 8 minutes (it could just be my oven). These are filling and delicious. Made for ZWT5.

This recipe surprised me as there is no flour but nontheless I got a yummy result just like a energy bar but not in a bar shape. I used dates and a mix of almonds and walnuts with great success - made for ZWT 5.
