FOODGASMIC!!! but i was trying to find a good fettuccine alfredo florentine recipe and didn't find one i liked, but i found this and followed the basic instructions from some random others concerning the florentine. So i got some frozen cream spinach and fresh white mushrooms. Let the spinach thaw and using a large skillet and i waited till the oil was hot (on medium) i threw in the mushrooms. When they're golden, leaving it on medium, i also threw in the cream spinach after about 3 or 4 minutes, it should be done. Then i added it to my Better Than Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce, i admit it was an orgasm on a plate...and it reheated pretty well :]

My family loves this!! I add chicken and shrimp (sauteed with garlic powder, onion powder and olive oil). It has become a frequent when we crave pasta!

This is a good recipe, and following it to exact, I can see that the mozzarella addition was grand, however, made it kinda gloppy. I had to keep it very warm and serve it right away so the cheesy factor (stringy) didn't mess with the dish. **(I might add no cheese or much less next time.) Thanks for posting delish dish!

This is a very good and easy recipe to follow. This was the first time I tried to make alfredo sauce and it came out great. I made fettuccine alfredo and it tasted great; my wife and I loved it.

DItch the cream and use low fat cream cheese. This is the best I have had. Keep everything else in the recipe the same and be sure you watch all dairy as it heats. Even on simmer it can come to a boil and ruin the creamy texture. It must be stirred and watched constantly. I also add chopped parsley for presentation sake. If you are brave add a little concentrated chicken broth. It ups the flavor. I use Better Than Broth chicken paste. No MSG and lots of flavor. Your guests will wonder why your Alfredo tastes so great. Don't tell.

Not even close. The closest "quick clone" of the Olive Garden Alfredo that I've tried involves a stick of butter, a cup of 1/2 and 1/2 or heavy cream, 2/3 cup of grated parmesan arregiano, 4 tblsp of cream cheese and grated garlic or garlic powder to taste, it did not contain 'mozzarella'. Putting mozzarella in Alfredo, even quickie clone Alfredo, is not right at all. Wrong taste and consistency completely.

Wonderful flavor & so quick & easy! Modified slightly based on what I had on hand. Used only 2 T. of butter, used 1 c. of milk instead of 2 c. of cream & so added 1/4 c. cream cheese. It tasted so good after adding the parmesan, that we didn't even stir in the mozzarella! We tossed in sauteed mushrooms & peas. Everyone loved it! Thank you!

This was very good! I also made some sauteed shrimp cooked with butter, garlic and Parmesan cheese to go on it. It was fabulous :)

Wow, this was so good. I actually made it for an ingredient in spinach artichoke dip and it made it so rich and creamy. Can't wait to try it with pasta next time.

This was fantastic! I made exactly as posted and was not disappointed. I did use penne pasta as opposed to the angle hair. A real winner with my family.

This is really good. I had actually thought I've reviewed this before as we've made this a bunch of times. It's easily doubled and usually there isn't any leftovers.
