I got this recipe from my mother. Great for when you want to save some of those fat calories for dessert.

  1. In a saucepan, combine the dry ingredients.
  2. Stir in milk and water until smooth.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, cook and stir until thickened.
  4. Serve over hot cooked vegetables.

Nice change of pace from cheese sauce. Good for when you want something different. The tarragon really stands out - just be careful not to overdo it.
