A lower fat bread spread with a real butter taste.
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 2 tablespoons non-fat powdered milk
- Soften butter.
- Beat together.
- Store in covered bowls or tubs.
Great stuff! Easy to make, spreads easily, and a more healthful version of butter. Must beat thoroughly for a completely smooth spread. I halved the recipe and added a touch of salt since my butter was unsalted. Can't wait to try your version with buttermilk next. Thanks, wildheart, for posting!!
