This was great! The night I went to make it, though, I found my 1/2 package of cream cheese was all dried out **sigh**. I did however have a 4 oz container of garlic cheese spread with herbs which worked out just fine. Didn't have to chop onions or garlic. I had a bag of shredded mexican cheese blend (colby/jack/ cheddar)which I used instead. The people I made it for loved it. Hands down...better than Boston Market's!!

We also loved this! However, we had "other uses" for this delicous dish. I put it on my baked potato - delicious! My son ate over half of it as a dip. (he wanted me to let you know that is was "better than TFIF's"!) Thank you for creating this!

The flavor of this recipe is very good and it certainly tastes decadent! I do agree with the other reviewers that it is a little too thick. I did not fully drain the spinach and this helped some. I also found the garlic and onion to be too raw. I suggest sauteing them first to soften them.

It had good flavor, but it seemed more like a spinach dip than creamed spinach? I suppose I was expecting something not as thick.

I have never tasted BM's creamed spinach but this was absolutely delicious. I used Neufchatel cheese in place of the creamed cheese to reduce the calories. Scrumptious! Thanks for sharing.

Great! I think I ran into difficulty with the extimated amounts. I used the amounts stated and when it came out of the oven it was quite dry. I also had drained the spinach really, really well so this may have contributed to the problem? The taste was delicious, and I will try again and up some of the ingredients and see what happens! Thanks for the great recipe!

I loved this! Most of my family doesn't like spinach, but my mother even ate some when I made it at her birthday lunch. The taste was great and it was pretty easy to make.

Better and easier than other creamed spinach recipes I've tried.

Yum! I did change it up a bit. I had some fresh spinach to use, so I wilted that in the microwave, but didn't have enough, so added in some frozen. I didn't really measure anything, added salt and pepper and subbed some feta and Italian blend cheese. I really liked it, but DH seem to care much (but then he doesn't do a lot of vegetables)!

I had lots of spinach and Swiss chard to use up, so I cooked it down and got 18 oz. I didn't really measure the ingred. much either, so I think I might have put too much onion in, but I used my hand blender to cream the stuff together (even the onion) and it looked yummy. I cooked for 20 min. and it turned out good. I added salt. Next time, I'll take a pic.

We loved this dish. I did change a few things out of necessity. I used dried, minced onions and canned grated parmesan cheese. Also, I substituted cheddar for the jack cheese. Lastly, I added a few tablespoons of milk, because it seemed a little dry. Mmm-mmm. This is a keeper. Nice job, Chelle!

I made this for Christmas Eve dinner. The only change I made was to use fresh spinach. It was fabulous! I'm doubling the recipe to take to a potluck tonight. This recipe is definitely a winner - thanks for sharing!

This was the best creamed spinach I have ever had and creamed spinach has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. It's easy, creamy, and taste delicious.

So very easy and so delicious! I precooked the onions and garlic in the microwave for 2 minutes before mixing them into the spinach. This recipe is a real keeper!

This was very rich and creamy. Almost too creamy for my tastes, but it was very good, and I have made it more than once. My husband loved it! I did add some cayenne and black pepper to cut the richness a bit. I think it might be even better using a little less cream cheese. Broil for a few minutes before taking it out of the oven for a slightly crisp, cheesy crust.

Just made it for dinner, and I thought was very easy and very good. I used fresh spinash(2 bags) wilted on the microwave, didnt have monterey jack, used mozzarela instead, some cayenne pepper, black pepper, romano and parmesan mix. Very easy dish, ingredients on hand, is on my regular rotation now.

Very good and easy side dish. I skipped the onion as my family does not like it and used onion powder instead. My only negative is that it did need some salt and pepper which next time I would add while I was mixing the dish.
