This is my version of Weight Watchers' mini chocolate chip cookies, cut back so you can have more for less points......

  1. preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. in a medium bowl, cream together butter, oil and sugar. Add vanilla, salt and egg white: mix thoroughly to combine.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together flour and baking soda: stir into batter. add walnuts and chocolate chips to batter, stir to distribute throughout.
  4. Drop by leveled teaspoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake cookies until golden brown, about 6 to 8 minutes: cool on wire rack.
