Beth these burgers are very tasty. I served them with fried mushrooms, tomatoe, sweet onion, hot mustard, relish and horseradish all on the side (I put on everything). My meat was ground chuck mixed with buffalo. I thought the recipe sounded a bit mild but I followed it and they are excellent I wouldn't change anything. I didn't even add garlic!. You do have to be careful turning them as they are quite soft and I may have had trouble BBQing themThanks for an enjoyable Burger night

I was so happy to find this recipe! I wanted to add a little flavor to my angus but not overpower it--this did exactly that! Halved it for 1 lb of 80/20 black angus ground beef. Used A1 Bold & Spicy since I didn't have Heinz 57 and a little kosher salt. These were really great, just a little background flavor similar to a BBQ sauce but not as strong. This will be my "basic burger" recipe.
