Beth these burgers are very tasty. I served them with fried mushrooms, tomatoe, sweet onion, hot mustard, relish and horseradish all on the side (I put on everything). My meat was ground chuck mixed with buffalo. I thought the recipe sounded a bit mild but I followed it and they are excellent I wouldn't change anything. I didn't even add garlic!. You do have to be careful turning them as they are quite soft and I may have had trouble BBQing themThanks for an enjoyable Burger night
These burgers are so yummy. They are a little bit sweet. They were great with cheddar cheese, mustard and tabasco chipotle mayonnaise. Thanks beth :) made for Name that ingredient tag game
What a nice combination of flavors. Very simple and tasty. Thanks Beth for a great meal. Made for Cookbook Tag.
I was so happy to find this recipe! I wanted to add a little flavor to my angus but not overpower it--this did exactly that! Halved it for 1 lb of 80/20 black angus ground beef. Used A1 Bold & Spicy since I didn't have Heinz 57 and a little kosher salt. These were really great, just a little background flavor similar to a BBQ sauce but not as strong. This will be my "basic burger" recipe.
This is a great burger recipe that really suits my family's tastes. Love the Heinz 57 sauce, and the brown sugar..."who'da thunk it?!" Ya can't beat the grill when it comes to making a good burger, but with this recipe, I'm sure it's just as good whether grilled, fried or broiled. Thanks!
What a pleasant combination. I used garlic powder, onion powder, A-1 sauce, and some bbq sauce. And tossed in some water too. The water kept the meat moist and the flavors blended nicely. Will make this again!
GREAT BURGERS BETH! Thanks for posting! We loved them too :) and we'll be making again!
Excellent burgers! I used ground buffalo meat and we barbequed them, they were great and I will make this again. Thanks!
Very good burgers! I would of never thought of putting brown sugar in hamburgers. Love the flavor! I broil mine under the broiler cause we didn't have propane for the gas grill . Still worked well :) DH and I loved them. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
