Betcha Can't Have One-bite Brie

"My niece served this with homemade cranberry jelly. It was fabulous! I love pepper jelly (and am not about to make jelly) so this is what I use. I guess you can use your own imagination. I can't imagine any other jelly NOT tasting good with it. Cook time is very approximate - just keep watching!"

  1. A winner! This is an excellent way to serve baked brie and much better done in the oven than microwaved. I used cranberry/redpepper jelly produced by the Galloping Cows of Port hood, NS a small producer of gourmet condiments and got the best of both the submitter's suggestions.

  2. What's not to like about this? I tried it with the pepper jelly as you suggested. So easy and delicious! A real winner for an easy but elegant appetizer.

  3. Very good brie. Mine took about 15 minutes to get warm in the oven. Thanks!

  4. Served for New Years Eve. With crackers. I received a # of good comments from guests. I did have trouble with "Brie begins to soften". Brie was at room temp when it went into oven. I watched carefully as stated. I kept pressing cheese to see if it was soft. I wish I had left it in oven a little longer. Thanks dojemi I will be serving this again.

  5. I'm with Claire de Luna. How can this not be good? I made it with a wonderful cherry jam and served with crackers for scooping. The tiny leftover bit made a great breakfast after I melted it onto some french bread! Yum! Thanks..
