Best Yellow Squash Casserole ...yummmm

This is the best squash casserole ever!!! My kids and hubby swore they didn't like squash , I didn't tell them this has squash in it and they cleaned the dish out and were actually arguing over who got the last serving!! now I have request to make it again soon. I got this recipe from my mom years ago and had lost it till now so I'm putting it on here for safe keeping.

• Prep Time: 10 mins
• Cook Time: 1 hrs

Ingredients:

Servings: 10

• 4 cups shredded yellow squash
• ½ cup chopped onion
• saltine , crumbled (I used almost a full sleve)
• 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese (don't use any other kind it effects the taste)
• 2 large eggs
• ¼ cup butter
• 1 (11 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
• black pepper
• garlic salt

Directions:

1. Shred squash and onion in food processor , pour into lg bowl add the remaing ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased ( I use the spray to grease) place in preheated oven at 300 degrees for about 1 hours some ovens may vary so keep an eye on it once it begins to bubble and crisp around the outside it is done. Enjoy!
