This was so good! Thank you so much! My fiance and I have been missing naan TONS since we adopted a vegan diet over 2 years ago. This recipe fixes it all. I used a plain soy yogurt instead of the sour cream because that's what I had on hand. The coriander really shone through & it was exciting to see the dough transform with the brown spots & bubbles! Next time we'll add the garlic. This is great! 2 thumbs up & 5 stars! (Toddler loved it, too!)
I love indian food and just recently started trying to make it at home for my vegan family. All of the naan i find in the store has buttermilk, but making it is so much fun! This recipe is awesome.
The family loved the Naan. I live in Honduras and can't find vegan sour cream here so I used the local sour cream. Other changes: I used skim milk, added the fresh garlic into the dough while kneading, added black pepper & garlic powder. I also brushed butter on one side when done. Thanks so much for sharing!
A bit dry. Think perhaps some oil is needed. Had to add a bit more liquid to it for a decent rise, but that could just be due to my flour.
This was great. Easy to make, and close to what I am used to eating at Indian restaurants, but without all of the unhealthy things...
Yum! I cut the serving size to four and used lactose free milk. These were so easy to make and they tasted so yummy. Other changes I did were I brushed the dough with some olive oil and sprinkled a little garlic on top of the dough before placing them to the griddle. Thank Enjolinfam
