The appeal of this recipe is that it makes cookies which do not spread a lot upon baking - perfect for cutting out shapes, etc. An added bonus is that with no egg, you can make these cookies with kids and not have to worry if they eat some. I made them for my son's preschool class and everyone loved them.

I found the dough was just a little too difficult to work with. And 1/8 of an inch seemed a little too thin here. After being cut out they were not even that even looking. The final product was nothing special considering the "better mixing method".
