As the title says, this is the best pumpkin pie I have ever had! Easy to make and popular with the family. Nice blend of flavors (just enough pumkin flavor).
This recipe worked perfectly. I liked that it was a little thicker and spicier than some recipes. It's the one from now on!
Wow! This is an amazing recipe! The sweetness of the pie is perfectly balanced with the savory spices...in fact, I had a hard time not licking the batter out of the bowl and off the spatula! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
This pie was excellent! Sweet enough to be good even without whipped cream. I made it to take to a kindergarten class for my son's show and tell. Every one of those picky little eaters loved it! This is my new pie recipe! It made one deep dish pie with graham cracker crust for me.
This pie would have been a 5 star pie if it was up to the DH ! I found it to be just a bit to sweet for me, so I will cut back on the sugar next time but I loved, loved the texure and the spice mixture not so spicy that you could not taste the pumpkin..Thanks for the recipe its a keeper..
I'm 74 and "THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST EVER"..been baking pies forever & it's not easy to go to "NEW"..changed it to my taste, still wonderfully creamy. used 2 cups fresh pumpkin.1 can sweetened cond. milk plus enough 1/2 & 1/2 to make up the difference. Just 1 tablepoon sugar, & instead of all the different spices, I used 2 1/4 teaspoons of Pumpkin Pie spice. This is the "PUMPKIN Pie RECIPE" in our family from FROM NOW ON....Thank Pat Rayot
This is a must have pumpkin pie for every Thanksgiving for me and I've been making it for a few years now. My sister introduced this pie to me (finding it on here)and it's because of this pie that I started on this website. I'll be making it this friday since its Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend. Thank you for the great recipe.
This was great. I made the recipe exactly as printed, but for some reason it was running over the edge of my 9 inch pie shell which made a little mess but the taste was worth it. I'm going to make another one for the holidays but maybe cut down the pumpkin and sweetened condensed milk about 1/4 cup each so it doesn't overflow. Thanks!
