Super Duper Chocolate Sauce, Lubie! Thanks for sharing. Laudee C.
Very good sauce. I only changed how I incorporated the ingredients. I melted the butter, removed the pot from the burner and added the cocoa (sifted it first), once incorporated, I added about 3 tablespoons of golden honey and the sugar. Stirring thoroughly then added condensed milk. Returned it to the burner and stirred until it just started to bubble, added a bit of 2% milk to thin it, and brought it to just bubbling. I just found that incorporating this way, it didn't turn out grainy - like my first attempt did.
i'm yet to try this recipe but my dad makes one very similar. it's definitely sweetened condensed milk (because its thick and sugary), and the sugar has to be simmered until its melted completely. my father also used golden syrup on top of the ingredients listed here. you can also add a small portion of water once the ingredients are thoroughly combined and sugar melted and place back on low heat to thicken up again
