Best Cookie Bars

"I got this recipe years ago from my sister-in-law. They are sooo good I don't make them very often as they are to tempting. Every time I make them everyone wants the recipe. This recipe consists of 3 layers."

ingredients

• Crust

• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 1 cup flour
• 1⁄4 cup sugar

• Second layer

• 1 cup graham cracker crumbs, crushed
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1⁄2 cup chocolate chips
• 1⁄2 cup chopped walnuts
• 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

• Icing

• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 1 1⁄2 cups sifted powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

directions

1. Mix butter, flour and sugar until crumbly.
2. Pat into a 9 x 13 pan and bake for 10 minutes at\375°.
3. Mix graham crackers (crushed), baking powder, chocolate chips, nuts and condensed milk and spread over crust.
4. Bake for 25 minutes at 325°.
5. Mix butter, powdered sugar and vanilla and frost when cool.
