Wow super easy and super quick to make! I had some boring chicken fingers and didn't know what to do with them so I doused them with this and served it with some ranch dip. Turned out great! :)

I've been looking for a great buffalo wing sauce for a long time, and this is it. I only used 1 teaspoon of cayenne, and I added a generous amount of cracked pepper and garlic powder for additional flavor. I loved it! This is definitely recommended.

MMMM!!!! this was wonderful. I have never made hot wing sauce before or used Frank's red hot sauce. This was quite the treat. I also fried some potatoes and put the sauce on them. They were wonderful.

My sister and I are regulars at Buffalo Wild Wings, Hooters and any other place you can get buffalo sauce. This stuff, hands down, is some of the best we have ever had. I even called our little brother over to sample it. We all loved it and will be making it often, we are totally addicted to it. I used Franks Hot sauce and tossed some pan fried chicken breasts in it. I put them on hamburger buns and topped it off with some ranch dressing (didnt have any blue cheese) It was awsome!! I cant wait to make this again. Thanks for posting!

Excellent! I agree that Frank's RedHot is the only one to use, and we loved the extra flavor and heat the cayenne added. I don't make fried chicken wings, but love to use Buffalo sauce in other recipes. I used this in Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches and Bite Me Pretzel Dip. Great stuff--thanks for posting!

Who would've ever thought making your own buffalo sauce would be so darned easy! Nice and hot! A real sinus-clearer. In fact, I actually cut the cayenne down to 1 tsp because I just couldn't handle the heat (Do I have to leave the kitchen now?) Haha! Thanks for sharing this great recipe!

This is by far the best wing recipe I've ever tried - restaurant quality! The butter makes it stick to the meat, providing an awesome kick with every bite (and plenty to lick off your fingers as well!) Plus, the 2:1 ratio of hot sauce to butter makes this an extremely easy recipe to adapt to any amount of chicken. Love it, Love it, Love it!! I even made a batch to use as a baste for grilled chicken last night - drizzled with extra sauce and topped with blue cheese crumbles just before serving - delicious!

Another heatwimp here:). I used this to copy a sandwich I love from a restaurant where I live. It's called Kickin Chicken, you just take a cooked boneless chicken breast, breaded or not, dunk through the sauce, place on a kaiser roll with medium thick slices of cucumber and ranch dressing. You get the hot chicken, the cool ranch and the cool crunch of the cucumber. One of my favorite sandwiches.

Fantastic recipe. I'm a wimp so I skipped on the cayenne but added about a teaspoon of garlic powder. Two thumbs up!

This was great! I couldn't use Frank's ...sorry ;), because we were stuck in a snowstorm and I had to use what I had on hand. I used Crystal hot sauce...otherwise followed your recipe. We made this for Eagle's playoff game snacks. My family loved it on their wings! My husband's face was red and he had tears coming out of his eyes, but it he thought is was soooo good! Thanks for sharing...next time I'll be sure to try it with Frank's.

Outstanding sauce! A local restaurant here serves boneless chicken strips with Buffalo sauce and I've tried to recreate them, but my mistake was using Franks & Tabasco. Love the cayenne! I cut boneless breasts into strips and dipped in a beaten egg and then rolled in flour that was liberally seasoned with Emeril's Essence. I put them in the freezer for about half an hour before deep frying. I didn't change a thing on the sauce. I started with a teaspoon of cayenne after reading KMT's review, tasted the sauce and then decided to go with the other teaspoon of cayenne. It was perfect. Served with baked potatoes and fresh tossed salad. Great meal, outstanding recipe. Thanks for posting!

YOWZER!!!!! That's HOT!!!! I cut the cayenne down to 1 tsp because I'm a major wimp, and it was still spicy. Perfect for me though. I really, really, liked these A LOT. I even liked making them. I cut boneless skinless chicken breast into strips, dusted them with salt & flour, fried them, then tossed them in your sauce as directed. I can't wait to be hungry again so I can eat another one. I served these with cornbread and broccoli and cheese. Mmmmmm Mmmmm!!!!!!!
