Holy cow!! This stuff is great!! I am definately making this over and over again. I am on the South Beach diet and I modified it slightly to meet my needs. I used Splenda instead of sugar, and low fat mayo. I didn't have any red onions, so I used some green ones. I also substituded red wine vinigar for apple cider vinigar. The flavor made my tongue do that happy dance. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful recipe Mary Anne!!!!

darn it! I have been looking through all the broccoli salad recipes to see if mine was listed and here it is. This is the best out of all of them! I personally add a little more broccoli, little more sunflower seeds, & less sugar. But all in all it is the same recipe. 10 stars ! I like to keep the salad ingredients and the dressing separate till a few Minutes before serving and mix. But I like my broccoli salad crunchy, my parents like it day old and softer. Also, fabulous with low fat (half fat) mayo.

I couldn't stop eating this. It's so good. I would substitute low fat mayo next time. I tried it first without the bacon and that was very good too. This definitely must be the best broccoli recipe, it’s awesome.
