YUM! I have been experimenting with making my own margs, trying to steer clear of the sugary mixes. I used Fresca (0 sugars) in place of 7Up, and Margaritaville tequila with lime! I don't have to look any further, this is the best recipe ever. Would even be good with some fresh fruit mixed in.... thinking raspberries? Happy Summer and thanks for the great drink.

OK I have to admit that this is the best Margarita recipe I have found. These will sneak up and get you if your not careful. It was a little sweet for some of my friends so I added another beer (Corona) and 1/2 of the lime-aid on the second pitcher. I used Fresca because it was what I had. This one is a keeper and a HUGE "Thank-You" to Kittencal for another great recipe.

Oh this is deadly. I just whipped it up for the heck of it (it's 92 degrees, after all). I'm here all by myself and I have this pitcher of deadly margaritas... Quick, I need visitors to share this with! I used all 7-up (diet--heh, I know; what's the point?!). It is a *tad* too sweet so maybe next time I'll use the half water/half 7-up. In the meantime, I'll just have to tough it out. *grin* UPDATE: Made with 1/2 water & 1/2 Seven-UP and it is perfect. (Although I still used diet!)

Very good, I thought it was better than a lot of the overly sweet margaritas at restaurants. We used Corona too which was a nice touch!

My sister made this recipe for a BBQ and I was impressed! I thought beer, yuck! But you cannot taste it at all and these are really really good! I was very surprised!! We mixed the concoction up and blended with ice in the blender for frozen margaritas! Thanks for sharing!!

Made at the DH's request and it was a hit with all who tried it! Smooth, no heartburn, and not too sweet. I made it with 6 oz. each of 7Up and water. Next time we'll try all 7Up. We also flavored some with an orange liquor which made it tasty! It was a wonderful match to the Cinco de Mayo taco bar party we had!

This was lovely! It sounded so strange I had to try it, and it works! We don't have frozed limeade in New Zealand, so I used lime cordial concentrate which I measured up and froze in ziplock bags. I worried it would be too sweet, but it was lovely. Thanks for sharing this one; its a keeper!

I made this recipe to serve 30 for my housewarming party! Great success and rather potent to boot. Loved the fizziness but found it slightly too sweet (I couldn't have more than a small glass). Thanks for the post!

These were great, especially for people who prefer a beer to a margarita. Not to sweet.

Loved the ease of making these Beer Margarita's. The taste was great and followed recipe exactly. Not too sweet, nor too sour. I usually make my margarita's with Triple Sec, but these are better. No beer taste at all, just a bit of fizz. Thank you for a wonderful recipe. I will use it again and again!!!

These were smashing. Easy, delicious. What else can I say? They were just a bit sweet for us, so next time I will tart them up a bit. Super and will make often. THANKS for a great one, again!

I know my margarita's and this is the best yet. Was a huge hit for our Mother's Day cookout and it's now on the menu for my niece's graduation....in Texas!! I added triple sec to help off set them being sour and used all 7-up. Also used Dos XX beer, but any one that you would put a lime in should work. Thanks for sharing.
