These are seasoned prefectly. No breading for filler you`re eating crab! I did add very finely chopped red peppers. I used Hellmans Mayo instead of Miracle whip. And instead of crackers I used panko flakes. This recipe is most definitely a keeper in my cook book.It was cooked about 3-4 minutes on each side. Thanks for posting a very delish and easy recipe.

These had a great taste but they did not stick together. I followed the recipe as written except I used Kraft mayo instead of Miracle Whip as that is what I buy.
These are it....if you have had MD or DE crabcakes and have fallen in love with them, then this recipe is the one you want. I made the recipe almost as stated and I was really impressed. I am making them again today and am adding finely minced celery and red pepper, just my preference. The reason I ALMOST followed the recipe is that I, too, like another reviewer, don't like Miracle Whip. Instead of cutting it out completely, though, I used half MW and half Mayo. The crab cakes benefitted from that little bit of extra sweetness and I will continue to make that adjustment. Thanks so much for a 10 star recipe!

Mmmman! These were good! I added fresh chives to the mix. This is the perfect crab cake recipe.
Great recipe for crab cakes without any fillers!!! Only thing I would do next time is decrease the salt to about 1/8-1/4 tsp as there is already salt added from the worsterchire sauce and the saltines. Otherwise, a great recipe!
Ideal! Halved recipe, sprayed tops with butter Pam and baked on a stone at 400 for 20 mintues. Not one morsel left! Thanks.
These were VERY good. I really love old bay seasoning hehe. I did everything as stated except I used fresh parsley and I too used hellmans mayo instead of miracle whip, because I cant stand MW lol :) I agree with Rita; definitely a keeper!!!!! Cant wait to have these again. We're doing all veggie and seafood only for lent, so this was definitely a change from what we've been having! Thank you SO MUCH! :)
