This is my kids' favourite meal. And the leftovers make a great sandwich the next day!

Excellent, very moist and tasty. Great for a crowd. I used moose ground meat instead of veal.I will make often.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Mix all ingredients and form into a long loaf.
  2. Lay bacon over meatloaf and along the sides.
  3. Place into a 9x13 baking pan and bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.
  4. I usually add nearly cooked potatoes for the last 20-25 minutes and sometimes I even make a gravy from the pan drippings.
  5. Remove from pan and cover with foil for 5 or 10 minutes to let the juices settle.
  6. Slice and serve.
