A recipe of my Mom's. We always used fresh picked blackberries.
Make and share this Berry Dumplings recipe from Food.com.
- Combine berries, 3/4 cup sugar, and water in a microwave-safe casserole. Cook for 5 minutes in the microwave.
- Quickly mix together dumpling ingredients (flour through oil). Drop by spoonfuls over the berry mixture.
- Cook, covered, in the microwave for 5 minutes until the dumplings are fluffy and done.
I used blueberries for this dumpling recipe and enjoyed! Thank you Tarbean for sharing your mom's recipe.
