A high-fiber, high-protein drink that will get you started on your day.
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons flax seeds
- 2 tablespoons wheat germ
- 1 banana
- 6 strawberries
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 cup milk
- Blend eggs, flax seed, wheat germ honey and milk in a blender.
- Add strawberries.
- Break (or cut) banana into 5-6 equal pieces and add to blender.
- If consistency is too thick, add milk. If too thin, add a few extra strawberries or another banana.
This is a filling shake, I like having protein included in my breakfast to fend off hunger mid-morning. Recipe packs in almost 15 grams of Protein ! This recipe will be fun to experiment with as far as changing fruits and maybe adding extracts for additional flavor variety.
