This came from the Almond Board. I have not tried it yet, but am putting it here for safe keeping. Sounds easy, and a great healthy snack!
- 1 (6 inch) whole wheat pita bread
- 3 tablespoons almond butter
- 1⁄3 cup fresh berries
- 1 tablespoon slivered almonds, toasted
- Toast pita.
- Spread with almond butter, and sprinkle with berries and almonds.
- Cut in half and serve.
