I just finished making this recipe. It was good but I don't think it was anything like Beni Hana fried rice. I also doubled/tripled onion, green onion and soy sauce for flavor and it was still pretty bland. Good, and I might make it again but nothing like Beni Hana!
Excellent fried rice, and yes, it makes generous portions. I didn't use chicken but I did sautee shrimps in garlic butter and add those to the rice, oh yum, to die for, lol! I was generous with the vegetables, you cant have too many vegetables. And I didn't add the salt, lots of flavour there already with the butter and soy sauce. Yum, a winner! Thanks, Kana! Excellent. I made as directed without adding the salt. The only thing I might do a little different is reduce the butter, just a preference. This recipe could be made with pork or steak too! I did get three servings out of it like the other poster. Thank you Kana for a great post.
Thank you so much for sharing this delicious chicken rice recipe. We enjoyed this tasty dish very much. The flavor and textures were great. It was quick and very easy to make.
Excellent. perfect as is. Use soy sauce/ salt to taste. next time i will add a lot more carrots and green onions. this was exceptional fried rice.
This rice is awesome! I've made it at least 10 times within the last few months! The only thing I do differently is I add a larger portion of veggies, and I sometimes add peas and garlic. Works great everytime!! Thank you so much; my boyfriend and family just love it!
this was good. the fam loved it. I followed the recipe. this was a good way to add veggie and make everyone happy!
This was great! A very easy way to use up whatever veggies are in the fridge. I used carrots, regular onions, and added peas. Leftover chicken too. Served with a shrimp-broccoli stir fry. DH loved it. :)
This rice was the best fried rice I have ever made. I followed it exactly as the recipe is written and it came out GREAT! I will be making again and again.
