Great recipe, Would add it is best to let sit a couple nights, seems to make the flavor way closer to that of benihana's. Made it for a friends birthday party and 60 shrimp were gone in 15 minutes, they all loved the sauce!!
Wouldn't be able to distingous a difference between this sauce and any shrimp sauce from a hibachi restaurant...except your money will still be in your pocket after dinner!
Much better if you let it sit overnight! I also prefer to use tomato paste instead of ketchup, but it is essentially the same thing! Tastes just like going to any hibachi restaurant! My husband and I make this recipe and the fried rice recipe and it is much better than going out and spending the money!
This was perfect. Just like steakhouse sauce. I didn't have the garlic juice so I substituted garlic powder. The kids loved it.
Awesome recipe. It tastes just like Benehana's shrimp sauce. I could literally drink it. I agree with canders96 that it's better if it's been in the fridge overnight, but it's still good fresh.
