Nice and chewy, but best fresh out of the oven. I overbaked some of them a little, but otherwise they were very nice and soft.

Superb! I used a 1/4c to measure the dough and baked at 350 for 14 minutes.... then they really were GIANT! Didn't add the walnuts.

So chewy, so yummy! I was unfortuante to come across this recipe, because I like to watch what I eat and I now crave these cookies all the time. I have made them 3 times and am going to have to make them again on the weekend. A must try.

I have had the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream cookbook and this cookie recipe is VERY good! I too am a cookie lover (esp. choc. chip cookies) and these produce a nice big cookie - perfect for an ice cream sandwich - they stay nice and chewy...

Well, I gotta tell ya. My DH is very picky about his chocolate chip cookies. They have to pass the test to reach the "make them again" level, and these did it. He loved them. I made them with a 1/3 cup scoop and dropped the oven temp. to 325*. They came out big and soft and chewy. Thank you Donna for the thumbs up!
