    Ingredients:

    Directions:

      Heat the oil on medium-high heat.
    2. 2
      Saute the garlic and onion until they are translucent.
    3. 3
      Reduce heat to medium and add the beet greens.
    4. 4
      Stir until all the greens are wilted and heated.
    5. 5
      Add the white wine and bacon.
    6. 6
      Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
    7. 7
      Serve with salt and fresh ground black pepper.

      Wow. I used real bacon, and the grease, and chicken stock instead of wine. Yummy greens.

      I KNEW I would like beet greens if I finally took the time to make them. I just didn't know how much. I ate the entire pan on my own for dinner and it was fab. I used 3 slices of bacon and next time I'll use a half onion. Thanks!

      Very good recipe. We don't eat cooked greens often but with this we will have to start doing so. I mixed in some spinach to make up the quantity of greens. It was really enjoyable. Thank you,
