Great steaks :). I did leave out the gingerroot. and used honey. The hot sauce was the perfect amount. Real nice flavor. Nice to grill in decent weather again too. Made this with your Red Jacket Mashed Potatoes.

10 STARS for this one! I used molasses. I used a dark beer, which gave it a really rich flavor. We have a lot of flank steak during grilling season, and will be using this one often. Thanks for this keeper, Vicki!

My steak was in the marinade 6-8 hours. I used molasses instead of honey. This is so tasty. Thanks Lazyme :) Made for Market tag

Thanks lazyme, for this great recipe. It was very tasty and easy to make. I halved this recipe and it was just right for the 4 of us. Shockingly, I didn't substitute anything! Big Rock Traditional Ale was the beer of choice and I marinated it overnight. I really like flank steak - the trick to it is how you slice it, so make sure you follow step 5! Made for my fellow Kitchen Witch for ZWT5. Thanks! :)

Delicious flank steak!!! I had good intentions of making the marinade the night before, but of course, that didn't happen, so made it first thing in the morning. I made as written but had to sub red onion in place of the green onion, but worked out great with nice onion flavor. Served it with some home-made rolls, green beans and potatoes. Thanks for a great flank steak recipe, Lazyme!!! Made in honor of your win in the football pool!!!
