To give this recipe a little ZIP, I added a little finely chopped jalapeno to the mix. It made the dip addicting! Thankfully, I made a triple batch, as it disappeared very fast. Cant believe how many bags of wheat crackers we went through.
Made this for company and loved how easy it came together. The only think I did different was cut it in half as we didn't need this much. Everyone enjoyed the creamy texture and flavors, though I'm thinking next time I might add a little hot sauce for just an extra flavor and a little kick. Served with crackers
I thought I had rated this. LOVE this dip and everyone in the house has started fighting over the bowl and bag of pretzels. We may have issues as we all stash some away from the other's LOL.
My friends loved it!
This was a yummy dip that suited my craving! I used Colby Jack because we didn't have the sharp cheddar. I think the sharp cheddar would have been better, but it was really good this way, too. I minced up 1/2 medium yellow onion because we didn't have green onion and that was good - maybe could have even used more. I used Miller High Life light and thought maybe I should have used a more flavorful beer - maybe a dark or hoppy one - to add more flavor, but I liked the bit of flavor it did add. We also added a bit of garlic powder, tomato paste, and a teaspoon of light brown sugar.
Really good dip that goes well with pretzels, chips, and crackers! I especially enjoyed it with Chicken in a Biskit crackers.
Me and my son enjoyed this dip while DH didn't like it as much as us. I used Stella Artois beer. Thanks for posting :) Made for I recommend tag game
Made for superbowl and everyone loved it! I added a bit more green onion for personal preference. Big hit! Thanks for the recipe!
Great recipe! I make this all the time for football games and tail gating. Thanks!
