VERY YUMMY! I served mine with a spicy jalapeno cheese sauce.
I agree that there could have been additional spices in the batter for more zing. I served these with salsa and sour cream. (I used the extra batter for cherry peppers and they were good too.)
Yummy! Served with pico de gallo...very tasty recipe, who would of ever thought to fry an avocado? Thanks for the recipe.
Interesting recipe! The beer batter was thick but worked out fine - I forgot to let it sit 2 hours but it still seemed to work. Thought the spices could have been kicked up a notch, maybe with some cayenne or cumin. I salted these and served with taco sauce.
Neither my husband or I really cared for this. He loves avocado too, so it suprised me. Since a previous review said that the batter was a little bland, I added a lot of hot sauce, but it still was bland. The batter was super thick too...I don't know if it was supposed to be though. It was interesting to try though!
