I never made a ham but I have this recipe for my husband who loves ham. Maybe you do too?


  1. Score ham; stud top with cloves and bay leaves.
  2. Make smooth paste of mustard, sugar and water; add additional water if necessary to produce prepared mustard consistency.
  3. Spread over entire surface of ham in baking pan; pour in beer.
  4. Bake, covered, in 400 degree oven for 2 hours.

I have almost the same recipe, don't know where I got it. Anyway, I made this last year for Christmas and it was SUPERB! So easy to make, but i think my recipe uses just a tad more beer. YUMMY!
