    from ramadan recipes a rice dish for name games mine doesnt have as much of the spice as hers called for feel free to add to and hers had lamb which you could use if you could get it she used 3/4 c ghee , my dietian would hurt me

      soak rice in water 1/2 hour , drain

      in pan melt butter add clove star anise fennel

      brown a minute

      add garlic and ginger

      brown add onions add beef and brown may need to add a little more butter

      add spices

      and brown

      add potato

      brown a little

      add broth

      add rice drained

      and green chili

      add salt and pepper

      cover and simmer 20 minutes until rice is cooked.
