This recipe is hearty and filling but so easy in the slow cooker.

  1. place beef, onions and mushrooms in slow cooker.
  2. in a small bowl combine broth, wine, gravy mix, tomato paste, salt and bay leaf and pour over top.
  3. cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  4. discard bay leaf.
  5. Combine cornstarch and water stir into meat mixture.
  6. cover and cook on high 15 minutes.
  7. sere over noodles.
