Beef Stew--Crock Pot

ingredients
- 2 lbs round steaks, cubed
- flour (to coat steak)
- salt and pepper (to coat steak)
- 2 -3 tablespoons oil
- 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce
- 1 dash garlic powder
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 beef bouillon cubes
- 1⁄2 cup red wine
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 2 bay leaves
- 1⁄4 cup parsley, chopped
- 2 -3 carrots, sliced
- 5 medium new potatoes, quartered
- 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 whole clove
- 3 cups water
- salt and pepper
directions
- Dredge steak in flour, salt and pepper mixture; brown in oil.
- Place in crock pot and add the remaining ingredients.
- Cook for 8-10 hours on low.

Simpley delish! You couldn't ask for an easier meal to put together. Totally fix it and forget it! I used sirloin steak. made exactly as stated. Everyone was full from one bowl. Can't wait till lunch tomorrow for the left overs. Thanks for posting Margo59 we will be having this again and again. Made for My 3 Chefs Nov 08.
