Funny name, but good food!


  1. Mix onion Rice-A-Roni, mushrooms, and tomato sauce with hamburger in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Roll into large balls and place in glass baking dish.
  3. Pour cream of mushroom soup over porcupines and bake at 350 for 1 hour.

These were great, had them on top of mashed potatoes. The rice and meat cooked perfectly. You just need a small can of tomato sauce (I used 14 oz) and there was plenty to feed 4 adults.

Kids will like this one. I made 1" round meatballs instead of the large ones.
