I got this from a family cookbook we did one year. My cousin submitted it and my daughter loved it. I served it with spaghetti.

  1. Put everything but the meat in a crockpot and mix together.
  2. Add Beef.
  3. Cook on low for 6 hours.
  4. I served it with spaghetti noodles.

Loved this! I used a topside roast as that's all I could find so by the time it was cooked, it couldn't be sliced only shredded but that bwas no drama. I only used one can of tomatoes and a little water with the tomato paste and sweetened with stevia rather than sugar. This made for a lovely dinner alongside some vegies which was a hit with little miss DD and DH. I can see that this would be great to go with noodles or spaghetti though and will try that next time. Thanks for posting!

This had the most wonderful aroma while simmering away in my crockpot all afternoon. The recipe couldn't be more simple to put together. The meat was very tender - fall apart tender! I can see why you recommend serving noodles, because there is a lot of good tomato sauce! Thank you for another keeper to add to my crock pot files! ~Made for the Jan. Aussie/NZ Swap~
