- 1 egg
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons catsup
- 1⁄2 cup quick oats
- 1⁄4 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1⁄4 lbs ground beef
- 3 tablespoons flour

CREAM SAUCE
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1⁄4 teaspoon thyme
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
- 2⁄3 cup milk
directions
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, mix first 8 ingredients; mix well. Add the beef and mix well. Form 8 patties. Roll in flour. Place on greased baking pans. Bake, uncovered for 15 minutes; turn and bake 10 more minutes.
- SAUCE: Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour, thyme, salt and pepper. Slowly add broth and milk; bring to a boil. Serve over patties.
