  1. In a skillet, cook bacon, onion and garlic over medium heat until the bacon is crisp.
  2. Drain and place in a bowl.
  3. Stir in the bread crumbs, egg, water, parsley, salt, marjoram, paprika and pepper.
  4. Crumble beef and pork over the mixture and mix well.
  5. Shape into eight 3/4-in thick patties.
  6. Grill uncovered or medium-hot heat for 9-12 minutes or until juices run clear, turning occasionally.
  7. Serve on buns with desired toppings.

Excellent. I found this recipe in my Quick COoking magazine and we made these last night. They are thick and juicy. We served them with slices of Colby Jack cheese. Very yummy and full of flavor.
