"I can't remember where i got this recipe, but we all love it. It makes a ton so i bring it to family gatherings often. It isn't pretty until it is done cooking in the oven. But it is definitely good!"

  1. Great base recipe. I added corn and broccoli and used milk instead of water as suggested in another review. I used extra garlic and basil as well. My husband enjoyed it with sour cream. I also agree that it was a nice change from the usual cheddar filled casserole. Next time I will probably add an onion. Thanks for posting!

  2. This was good basic recipe. No stand out strong flavours, but nice and mild. Made a huge amount! I did add some onions when browning the ground beef. Doubled the basil and garlic powder. Substituted milk for the water, well drained diced tomatoes for the tomato soup. May have used more cheese than called for, as I sneaked some cheddar in. lol. Think I would make this again, maybe with some worcestershire and corn.

  3. This was a good casserole. Not WOW but good. I like the fact that it uses creamy soups in it. I think next time I'll add some onions and green peppers to it. Great for DH's lunch the next day.

  4. This was delicious. My husband and I really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing!

  5. Wow! This was really good and very quick to make! This is by far my favorite casserole as it's not too rich or too cheesy. I like the mozzarella since a lot of casseroles take cheddar which is great, but this is a nice change. This will taste especially good for lunches at work! Thank you for a wonderful recipe!

RECIPE SUBMITTED BY

Since my childhood i have LOVED food and cooking. Anything associated with food and cooking. I have an extensive collection of recipes, numbering around 50,000 from various cookbooks, friends and family members that have passed them along. I spend a lot of time cooking and gardening. I am currently working on starting my own catering business out of my home and love incorporating other families recipes in with my own. Right now my husband is the main taste tester. Our son is too young to try anything, but my husband can't wait until he can help eat things. My husband jokes i will need to give birth to a football team to put away the amount of food i cook for him to try. We live in North Carolina and both work for the same company as Networking Engineers.
