This is sooo good!!! I made this for my husband as he is a Guinness lover. I didn't think I would like it, but it was awesome. Even my one year old loved it! The Guinness makes a great gravy. I served this over garlic mashed potatoes.people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? So easy and so good! I used Guinness draught because that was what we had around and it turned out amazing. I served it over garlic mashed potatoes and it made a perfect meal. This will be a regular Sunday dinner at our house!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? I made this for my Guinness loving Dad without much hope of liking it myself. I was surprised though because it was extremely tasty! I used stew meat and it cooked up extremely tender. I did have to add some flour water at the end to thicken up the gravy but that could be just personal preference of how we like our gravy. As suggested, I served with boiled new red potatoes and pickled beets. Dad and DH put there potatoes in a bowl with the meat and ate it like a stew. Mom and I ate them separately. Also made Guinness Beer Bread #55355 which rounded out the meal nicely. Thanks for a great recipe Ppaperdoll!!people found this review Helpful.
