This is a very easy Chinese recipe from David Wade's cook book.

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. Fry beef in oil over high heat for three minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in soy sauce, salt and pepper. Remove meat and keep hot. To oil remaining in sauce pan, add celery, onion, molasses and bouillon. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Add bean sprouts and cook for 3 minutes. Replace beef. Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup water, and add. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Serve with rice.

I used minced beef instead of beef pieces, and snow peas instead of celery (just used what i had in the fridge), and it turned out superb!
I didnt think the molasses would marry so well with the soy sauce and ginger, but they did!
