I received this recipe from a friend and it became a favorite immediately. Hardly any preparation time makes it handy when you don't have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen.

  1. Put raw beef in bottom of a large heavy pan.
  2. Cut mushrooms as desired and add.
  3. Add rest of ingredients.
  4. (do not stir) Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 3 hrs.
  5. Do not peek!
  6. Serve over noodles or rice if desired.

I am a husband who NEVER cooks. I wanted to surprise my wife by making her dinner. I searched many beef burgundy recipes, and this was by far the easiest to make. It turned out great! She was so happy, and I was amazed that even I could make a delicious meal. Thanks!

I didn't want to spend the time cutting anything but I wanted something that tasted like I did it in the crock pot. This recipe gets an A for no effort necessary. My house smelled delicious and its very yummy!! This will be a staple in our house with little ones and not a lot of time. Thanks!

Made this for supper tonight for I wanted a easy meal for our Sunday dinner. The only change I made was to place everything into my slowcooker and cooked it on low for 6 hours. This was fabulous. I also fried four strips of crumbled bacon to add another hint of flavor. Quick, easy and taste great. Thanks!!
