I am a husband who NEVER cooks. I wanted to surprise my wife by making her dinner. I searched many beef burgundy recipes, and this was by far the easiest to make. It turned out great! She was so happy, and I was amazed that even I could make a delicious meal. Thanks!

  1. Put raw beef in bottom of a large heavy pan.
  2. Cut mushrooms as desired and add.
  3. Add rest of ingredients.
  4. (do not stir) Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 3 hrs.
  5. Do not peek!
  6. Serve over noodles or rice if desired.
