Very nice! Adust to the crock potwell. The sauce was excellent, with just a hint of orange. Didn't use small onions, just sliced Vadalias. Definitely a keeper.THX

This was quick to prepare (well reasonably) and my girlfriend loved it, I thought it was a little strong on the wine taste and not as stewy as I would have liked, will make it again and try fiddling a bit and see how it goes!

Excellent recipe and a very tasty dish to make on cold winter days. I found the recipe easy to follow and the house was filled with a wonderful aroma when we arrived back from a walk in the snow! I served it over noodles the first time and then made it with garlic mashed potatoes and a green salad for company.

Great recipe. Since I had the small pearl onions on hand, I used those. Excellent!!

Love it! Just love it... Will make this rather than the interminable original from now on. Rave reviews from family and company. Used my 3 quart KA casserole and covered it with foil. Thickened up nicely and the beef was so tender. MMMMMM Thanks so much for posting.

Great recipe! I omitted the small onions because the 2 cups seemed enough. Served this with company last night along with twice-baked potatoes and slaw, plus a loaf of Italian bread from our favorite bakery.
