Home made, vinegar based barbecue sauce

- 236.59 ml yellow onion, brunoise
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 44.37 ml olive oil
- 118.29 ml beef stock
- 118.29 ml cider vinegar
- 177.44 ml maple syrup
- 29.58 ml Worcestershire sauce
- 354.88 ml tomato sauce
- 44.37 ml chili powder
- 2.46 ml salt
- 2 jalapenos, minced
- Cook onion and garlic in olive oil in a non-reactive sauce pan until tender. Add beef stock, vinegar, syrup, worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, chili powder, salt and chili peppers. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
Very good barbeque sauce!! I really liked the jalapeno in this. It was easy to make and I got 1 full quart of great-tasting sauce. Thanks for sharing. Made for PAC 2011.
