A wonderful, simple dish - makes a lot and filling too! I made just as specified and we really enjoyed it. I added the basil (plenty of it!) when I added the meat and tomatoes back into the mixture. I think this would be great with ground beef as well. A great go-to dish that I will use often - thanks for sharing!

Tasty recipe. Made some slight changes by adding 1 extra garlic clove & cut back the broth & tomato sauce abit. I also find 8 oz of pasta too much for 4 servings so I cut that back to 5 oz. We found the flavour, consistancy & portions were perfect for us, thanks for sharing.

This was tasty and easy. I used all purpose ground meat mix and put everything in, but tomatoes, when the noodles went in and let the broth reduce down. Reminded me of hamburger helper but vegged up and so much more tasty. Thank you!

We loved this - especially DH, who said, "This is my favorite"! LOL - He was very very happy with his dinner tonight LOL. I did use grass-fed ground beef as someone suggested, so I ended up with a bit more liquid than I thought - should have cut it back just a bit. I added basil when I added the zucchini. Great weeknight dinner after a long day - quick and easy and it made a large amount, so we've got lunch for tomorrow too. Thanks for posting another keeper - made for ZWT7 ITALY and the HOT PINK LADIES!

I think this was great! I was scared it was gonna be too tomatoey. I only added one tomatoe because of that. I loved the onions in it. My husband said, "It's good!" He ate it right after I made it. I left it for an hour and half before I ate it. I think the flavors blended more. So when he gets the leftovers I think he is gonna love it. I don't know if my daughter is gonna eat it. I kinda had a heavy hand when I added more red chili pepper flakes. Yikes!!!!
