These burgers have more flavor than the all beef ones. I got the recipe from a friend and have made them a lot.
- Preheat broiler.
- In skillet, cook bacon, onion, and garlic until bacon is crisp.
- Drain; put into lg bowl.
- Add all remaining ingredients; mix well.
- Shape into 8 patties.
- Broil, 6 inches from the heat, 7-8 minutes per side, or until done.
Very good, and I am out of onions and garlic...I can't wait to make these again with all the ingredients!
These are super delicious and flavorful - one of my favorite burgers now. No one had any idea they were made with half pork! Thanks for posting!
These are so good! I cut the recipe in half - The burgers were lovely & juicy -loaded with flavor. A definite do again recipe. I had photos of the burgers but in error I deleted them - I will take more next time I make the recipe 30 June 10 I had one patty in the freezer so got a photo of it. They really freeze well. Next time I make these I will have them as a proper burger on a bun - I look forward to it
