Makes Chicken Gyros that are healthy and have a fairly low prep time. Recipe does not include a particular seasoning for the chicken, as thats really up to your own tastes. I personally have some spicy cajun seasoning mixes I use for most chicken servings.
- 12 ounces chicken breasts, Sliced
- 3 whole wheat pita bread
- 1 cup lettuce
- 1⁄2 cup tomatoes, Diced
- 1⁄2 cup onion, Diced
- 5 tablespoons tzatziki
- Take Chicken Breasts out of freezer, season with Seasoning Rub, and put in refrigerator overnight to thaw in a ziplock bag.
- Spray a cooking pan with Pam, and heat on medium to medium-high. Slice the raw chicken breasts into strips, and grill.
- To prepare pita, place 4 oz of chicken breast into each of 3 toasted pitas. Evenly distribute lettuce, tomato, and onions. Add tzatziki to taste and serve.
