Becky's Peanut Butter Fudge

The first time I had this at my Cousin Becky's house I knew I had to have the recipe. She received it from a woman many years ago at her parent's church. Definite holiday tradition.

Excellent fudge...As pretty to look at as it was to eat! I used a candy thermometer and removed it from the heat at 230 degrees, which produced a perfect, creamy, NON-GRITTY consistency. The entire batch disappeared on Christmas Eve, with numerous recipe requests.

  1. Cook first five ingredients to soft ball stage.
  2. Stir in marshmallow, peanut butter, and vanilla.
  3. Pour into an 8x8 pan.
  4. Cool and cut into squares.
