Bea's Grilled Pork Chops

"I love pork chops but I didn't like grilling them as they often dry up, so I came up with this sauce to baste the chops with. Very tasty and juicy chops. cook time is estimated as each grill differs from one to another."

  1. I used boneless pork chops, our favorites, and allspice for the ginger since mine was moldy. The website also said to use minced garlic to give the feel of minced ginger. Added about a tablespoon or more of soy sauce to bring that flavor out more and used canola oil. The chops were tasty, liked the asian flair, and would like to make them again with the ginger. Made and reviewed for Kittencal's Recipe Tag Game.

  2. Per another review, I added a little lemon juice and used minced garlic in lieu of the powdered...these additions definitely took it from 4 stars to 5! :-) Reminds me of a bottled marinade I used to pay $3 for, but I'll make this instead from now on. Thanks for posting!

  3. Just as advertised a quick and tasty marinade and I added a little lemon juice and cayenne for kick. Ironically I had a squirt jar of a wonderful local product made by Aardvark Sauces in Portland that was almost the exact same marinade but contained habeneros.

  4. I made this last night for the first time and my family love it. The pork chops came off the grill juicy and full of flavor, not dry at all like grilling them in the past. Will definitely make again and use on other meats as well.

  5. Very tender and tasty. I cut the recipe in half, just DH and I for dinner. Cooked them on the George Foreman Grill. Liked the Asian flair. This is so easy to prepare. Thanks for posting. Made for kittencalskitchen.com tag game.
